South Dakota / Colorado Vacation |

Ali, Gwen and I have been excited to take a little camping vacation for the last few months. We had initially planned on just camping in NE Iowa on some familiar territory but due to an employment change, I have a handful of free time on my hand and we decided to make a week of it. When I was growing up, my family would go on camping vacations to nation parks and I have committed to being a “national park family.” We had gone back and forth between going to the dunes of Michigan or to Custer State Park and the Black Hills. We ended up heading towards South Dakota and ending up traveling through Estes (I always end up back in Rocky Mountain National Park.)
